The 20 mm disc gives the artist a clean round space to work in, and pets read well from a photo with clear eyes, ears, and markings. We draw to capture the features you'd recognize, not a pixel-perfect copy. Want a paw print instead? Send a clear photo of the paw and we draw from that the same way. If the photo can't carry enough detail, we email you before drawing rather than ship something that doesn't look like them.

Do both earrings show the portrait, or is there a name?

It's a matched pair with two different discs: one holds the hand-drawn portrait or paw, the other holds your pet's name in script. Type the name exactly as you'd like it engraved and we follow your spelling, letter for letter. Shorter names sit best on the small 20 mm disc.
