An artist draws your pet by hand from the photo you send, then laser-engraves the portrait and the script name into 316L surgical steel, across the widest band in our ring line. It sits flat where your own eyes fall all day, in gold, silver, or a black no other PupTrace ring offers.

Common questions

How do I find my ring size, and what if it doesn't fit?

Measure at home with our printable ring sizer, or get sized at a jewelry store. Most people order the size of a ring they already wear comfortably. If it doesn't fit, exchange within 30 days for any size 6–13, no charge.

How is this different from your other pet rings?

The signets and the disc ring show their face on its own. This wide band is the only one that also carries their name, side by side with the portrait, and the only ring we offer in black. If you'd rather have just the face, our round portrait signet or oval portrait signet keeps it small and quiet; see the whole range under pet rings.

Will the portrait and name actually look like my pet on a band?

Yes — a personalized pet ring this wide gives the artist room to draw your pet by hand, with the script name set beside the face. If your photo is blurry or badly lit, we email you before drawing rather than ship something that doesn't look like them. The name engraves exactly as you type it, so check the spelling before you order.

Is a 12 mm band comfortable to wear every day?

It reads bold but sits flat against the finger without snagging. 316L surgical steel is tarnish-resistant, so daily water, soap, and hand lotion won't harm it, and the engraving stays readable through everyday wear.

Can people with metal sensitivities wear it, and how does the black hold up?

Yes — the base is 316L surgical steel, hypoallergenic and the same grade used in body jewelry. The gold, black, and silver are all platings made for everyday wear; if a finish ever shows wear over years, the steel underneath stays hypoallergenic.
