Is the cylinder big enough to hold a meaningful amount of ashes?

A small portion, not a full urn's worth. A pinch of ashes, a wisp of fur, or a small folded note with their name. Many buyers split a portion of cremation return between this keychain and a larger urn at home; pocket-portable is the design intent.

Is the chamber actually sealed? How do I fill it?

The screw cap closes against inner threads with a snug mechanical seal that holds through daily pocket-life. The kit ships with a funnel, push-pin, small spoon, and soft cloth — you can fill, tighten, and clean without spilling.

Will the portrait look like my pet on the small disc?

Yes — the artist composes for the disc face, emphasizing ear shape, markings, and expression. The hand-drawn portrait is structural laser engraving, not surface print. If your reference photo can't carry the detail, we'll email before drawing.

Why is the cylinder separate from the disc — wouldn't one piece be cleaner?

The 2-piece design separates portrait (always visible) from chamber (private). The disc shows the face at a glance; the cylinder holds what's only for you.
