Will my pet's name be readable on a plate this small?

Short names read cleanly. The plate is small (17 × 7 mm), so names up to about 10 characters (Max, Luna, Buddy, Bella) engrave clearly in script. For a longer name, reach out and we'll help it fit before we engrave.

Will it fit my wrist — and is it for me or for my pet?

It's made for you to wear, not for your pet's collar. The curb chain adjusts from 7.5 to 9.5 inches with a lobster clasp and extender, which fits most adult wrists. Buying it for someone else? You only need the pet's name, not a photo. If a wrist runs much larger or smaller, message us before ordering.

Will the engraved name fade or wear off?

No. The name is cut into the steel by laser, not printed or coated. Each letter is a structural mark, so daily wear, hand-washing, and sweat won't rub it away.

Is the gold real, and will it tarnish or irritate sensitive skin?

The base is 316L surgical stainless steel, the same hypoallergenic steel in our necklaces, finished with 18K gold or rhodium silver plating. It's tarnish-resistant and made for everyday wear. The plating gives the color; the steel underneath gives the strength.

How do I choose among your pet name bracelets?

All four engrave your pet's name in 316L steel; the difference is the form. This one sets a single name on an oval ID plate on a curb chain.
